I've noticed that the new image application that Marianne Marlow has included on the forum, rather annoyingly also displays photos of young attractive females looking for friendship (off differing kinds, I guess?) when you click on the budgie image and a new URL page appears.
Sure the image of someone's budgie is there to see, which of course the ONLY reason why I clicked the photo, but also, there are photos of scantily clad ladies adorning their wares rather brazenly as well underneath. The first time my wife "caught" me perusing someone's budgie photo, she seemed to only notice the 4 beauties below said bird, and I got an earful. T'was only when I dragged her back to my laptop screen to show her that these images were not of my doing, did she believe me.
However, due to the first rollicking I got, I now do not peruse said photos if the good lady wife is sat in the same room. Even if she was sat on the other side of the room she will have noticed that I have suddenly stopped typing and become quite still which will heighten her inbuilt mechanisms that alert her that I'm up to something I shouldn't be, or something she wouldn't like/recommend etc.
So, thanks to Marianne Marlow, I can no longer see photographs of beautiful birds unless my missus is at work!
Oh good, she's not due back until 10pm tonight

Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
I will remove the plugin for the image uploader.
I did not know that this happens because I have an ad-blocker installed.

How does one install an ad-blocker, and which one do you use? I see that Pro-boards will lose all ads but you have to pay monthly

Even paying to remove ads from this forum would not stop images from an external site. Postimage.org hosted the images and not proboards.
I use Firefox browser and ABP blocker.
It's a shame that the image uploader can no longer be used as they don't seem to have another one in the plugins library. Oh well.

I must be seeing something different here, When I click an image to view I only get the one image on a separate page. No other images are shown. When do these images show up please? Not that I want to see them, honestly, I just wondered when in the process they get shown.

they seem to show up, when clicking on the budgie photo, to enlarge, then they are at the bottom...

Here is a copy of what I see when I click an image for a larger version. Notice the wording underneath the image. I don't get any other images.

I have a blocker called 'Ghostery'. I don't know if it is available for Internet Explorer. But if it is it blocks all the images that I don't want to see + Trackers + Redirects and a bunch of other stuff. Have a look for it.

Marianne, thank you for the tip, I have just downloaded the APB blocker, great now not having annoying ads, shame about the image uploader though, is there no way we could get it back, and anyone offended by the ads under the picture could download APB blocker as I have done. I found it a quick and easy way to post pictures on the forum rather than using tinypics or photobucket.

I'm with jellybean on this one. Can we have the image uploader back and those that don't like or get into trouble looking at the other images download an adblocker. I don't have an adblock, but once I had registered what the images were I just don't bother focusing on them anymore.
