I have an old one of these: www.amazon.co.uk/Fruit-Holder-Entry-Foraging-Parrots/dp/B004FG9VPU/ref=pd_sim_sbs_199_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=1QMB4AYKGT2QZRQRVGS1I was thinking of getting a foraging perch or something for Munchy for Christmas or just some time, which would replace the old fruit holder. As Munchy likes the reflective bit at the top I was thinking I could thread some beads or something on there, but I don't have the washer or the screw end any more because they became all yucky (bits of food got into the screw and I could never wash it out properly) What do you think I could put on the end to stop things falling off?

Cork?? Not sure if you can even get proper cork these days, but surely you can. Would a craft store be able to help you out? Munchy might nibble on the cork, but as far as I remember cork is safe, as long as it is untreated.

Could you use a washer and a cable tie. Those plastic cable ties are quite hardy. If you do use that method don't snip the tail off the tie as it will leave a sharp edge.

Thanks for the advice, both! I'll look into it and see what I can find
