that suprises me Marianne that you do not supply calcivet I have so many supplements Barrie I don't like to overdo it. It's really hard to know if I am supplying too much or too little at times. Thinking about it, Blueboy doesn't use the iodine block or the cuttlebone. All of the others do. This is not good Marianne , diary your supplements monthly programme and lets have a peep

Marianne, remember spinach and parsley hinder the absorbtion of calcium in their bodies. If they are regulars on the birds menu it may be worth limiting the amounts and the frequency. Also shouldn't your multivit contain calcium? Thanks Hezz. Spinach and Parsley are not things that my birds have that regularly. Yes, Guardian Angel and Potent Brew have it in them but they are only things that I started using in the last 4 months. Blueboy has obviously had a calcium deficiency since came to us, the symptoms were there but I did not recognise them. He does this neck thing where he goes to the top of the cage and moves his head round to the left and then right and repeats. I thought it was a nevous thing or from being locked in a small cage for 2 years with no flight time (before he came to us) but apparently it's called Star-gazing. This is not good Marianne , diary your supplements monthly programme and lets have a peep Oh dear. I'm not as organised as you Barrie, I just write the weeks supplements on the fridge. I don't have a monthly one... How about if I tell you what I have, you tell me how often to use it?
