Girl in the Spiders Web continuation of Stieg Larrson's book that he started before he died and if I remember rightly it was finished by someone else, whose name escapes me at the moment.
The story is a continuation of the Millenium Trilogy with Lisbeth Salander and Journalist Michael Blomvkist.
Very good, but only 95% as good as the other three, so it's pretty damn close!!

A series of crime novels by Alaskan author, Dana Stabenow, the Kate Shugak series is worth a read. An Alaskan author writing Alaskan crime novels, she does it well, I think. If only the library didn't have one of the series missing from the middle ......................

Did you know the fourth book is out now of the Millenium Trilogy Hezz. Have you also seen the film? If you can get the English version of the film with Daniel Craig in, it is absolutely brilliant and true to the book. However, obviously not everything in the book is in the film, but the most important bits are. I thoroughly recommend it. I have to say also the casting of the characters is so good, accurate right.

Would that be "The Girl who takes an Eye for an Eye", Shirls? I have it on order from the library. I think there are only about seven other people in front of me now.

Didn't know what it is actually called, but a friend is going to let me borrow it. Popular series aye??
Edit: I understand it is the fifth book. I did read the fourth one but forgot. I have read them all so many times!

Girl who Takes an Eye for an Eye Author: David Lagercrantz (Note Hezz if you haven't read it yet.) This is running on from the Millenium Trilogy originally written by Stieg Larsson and now taken over by D Lagercrantz. I am a fan of all the Trilogy books and have to say this latest one (no. 5) is a really good read. Sticks to original characters and adds a few more. Possibly not as good as the first two but I loved it nevertheless.

Girl in the ice Dark water The night stalker All by Robert Bryndza. I’ve just read the first two, about to start the third. By the way Marianne Marlow I always forget this thread is about books and think someone has had something dreadful happen to them.

Say You're Sorry (Book One) by Ian C.P. Irvine
I loved this book, and you just HAVE to read Book Two also, which follows on. It is crime with a difference and a lot of very clever computer hacking.

Ohh, good to see someone else has read a decent book, lately. I was wondering if I was the only one reading, still. Our library doesn't have it/him!

I'm ALWAYS reading, before going to sleep. Not had a really good recommendation lately, but this latest book is different. Found it a bit silly sometimes, won't be everyones taste, but then what book is? Just made a note of the ones you recommended helenmat (by Robert Bryndza).
