I certainly recognise some of those. There are few new publications in book shops these days.

I gave some books away last year, these are all I have left. One is very old (a gift) but I treasure it because it comes from a time when budgies were just becoming popular in England.

Somewhere (when I have time I'll hunt through the book shelves) I have a budgie book published not far from me in West Sussex. I think it has been around for quite sometime as I tried to buy a copy through a national book seller but they were unable to get it for me despite two months of waiting and the £24 cost. Then..... my daughter managed to get a copy through an internet book-shop and presented it to me on my birthday! It's a really useful reference book. If my wife tidied up less frequently it would be on the coffee table in-front of me now. I will post the title as soon as I find it.

Unfortunately that picture is a bit too small and when I enlarge it on my machine it goes 'blurry'!

Thanks for that Marianne, it actually looks very like one I gave away a year or two back!

I've just bought a copy of this, bit old now but almost all advice and info is still pertinent today,a great book highly recommended.

I am doing a little research as to which Budgie books are the best for the nonbreeding owner. There is one from Australia by Avian veterinarian Dr Ross Perry. It appears to be very comprehensive. Does anyone have that book and do you recommend it?

Doctor Ross Perry's Budgie Book. The Expert's Guide to Caring for Your Budgerigars with Love and Gratitude.
I'd love to own this book.
