I don't buy books unless they are super special and reference types, Shirls, but thanks anyway. I just borrow - make use of some of my rates and use the local library. I'm tight, I am. To add to the thriller thread, though, I have been reading through Anne Holt's books. She is Norwegian, so all translated, but any of hers are worth a read for those liking/loving crime/police/thrillers.

If Anne Holt is anything like Stieg Larsson, (I realise he was Swedish) but hey that's close enough to Norway methinks!!) I would be interested in her books. I shall look her up on Amazon, thanks for that Hezz.

No worries; Look at Jo Nesbo, as well; he is really good, too, especially the Harry Hole series.

It would be really good, perhaps it could happen one day, for one person to pass to another person a book on their device, so that sometimes a good book could be passed around. My daughter and I often read a book (we have similar taste in books) which then has to be purchased as we cannot pass it over. But I suppose someone has to make money somewhere!! That's where the good old paperback comes in handy!

A physical, real life, hold-in-your-hand book is a wonderful thing, but surely with time the same will happen with cyber-books??? Has to, doesn't it??
