Hello Stanley welcome to the forum - I get pictures & video's on Facebook of budgies and parrots, some of them are so funny and really cute. Look forward to seeing and hearing about Stanley (and your) adventures

Hello, Stanley. Is there a story behind Stanley, lemonade? Oh, and nice to see you back again, as well.

Did you use an iPad or something like that to take the photos with?

Did you use an iPad or something like that to take the photos with? I used my phone OP then directly uploaded onto here. I never used photobucket like I normally do, just add image to post button.

I briefly mentioned Stans story in my other post, but he was a safehouse bird that I looked after, and I became too attached and decided to adopt him! When you safehouse you cannot talk about the bird, let people know you have them or directly share photos. So I had to keep him quiet until I got my foster papers through. He is a lovely boy. He was quite timid at the start but a cheeky boy now! He is fairly quiet for an Amazon, as they can be LOUD!!! But when he is loud it is earplug time!Nothing prepared me for the first time I heard him shouting his head off. He loves head tickles, playing with his toys and eating my curtains and sofa

It's the auto rotate function with phones and iPads. It's quite natural to turn an iPad in to the portrait position to take a photo, but you have rotated the device and when you upload it on here it is rotated on its side. The same thing happens with smart phones. The easy way out is to save it to a PC or laptop, open it in a viewer, rotate it and save it again. I hope that makes sense.

Aww what a story! I have never heard of a "safehouse" for birds so my usual thing went and google'd it and found this in case anyone is interested: birdline.org.uk/Home/Special-AppealI could understand COMPLETELY how you became attached to Stanley lemonade so would have to think VERY carefully before thinking about taking something like this on

Yes it is a big commitment samwiseg and I think most safehouse members of Birdline have ended up fostering a lot of the birds they look after!
Even if people do not want to safehouse it is still a great charity to support. There are lots of different birds with different circumstances.
