Okay. What you all having for dinner on Christmas?
We're thinking grilled prawns and a roll of pork this year. No bird. (Remember, it's summer here.) Haven't yet figured out the exact menu.

Also, do you do lunch, an evening meal, or a Christmas Eve meal? Just wondering...

Haven't given it much thought :/ probably the same as usual, chicken with the trimmings or perhaps beef for a change as my daughter sent us a food parcel . No not really, she sent through the post from a Scottish butcher three joints big enough for two as she knows I won't pay the price for meat these days (long explanation but not sure :/)

Roast potatoes, yorkshire puddings, sage and onion stuffing, Brussels sprouts, gravy and quorn escalopes. Should mention that I am cooking meat for my husband and my sister. Sis is coming to have Xmas dinner with us as the kiddies are at their dads Xmas day. Bring on the wine

We are going to our daughters with all the family,so no idea what's in store for me, sure it will be great, but lets think about the people who are less fortunate than us and hope they get a meal, and times will get better for them in the future.........
