Oh, bless his little cotton socks!! 😘 Loki does the same sort of thing with his bed-box and a long cardboard tube - think South-American playing the didgeridoo. I feel a duet coming on Loki is such a diva that he’d probably not want to share the stage.

Only if they were prepared to cooperate, and it is not Frank I’m suspicious of. . The size difference would be interesting.

Perhaps Loki would be scared of Frank, like a mouse and elephant situation Only if they were prepared to cooperate, and it is not Frank I’m suspicious of. . The size difference would be interesting.

Oh, Marianne, definitely not! Now if Frank could assume cockatoo proportions that might happen. I should mention also that Loki’s tube concerto is not terribly melodious. . He does make up for lack of musical talent with sheer volume at times, though.

Oof, poor Bailey! I'd be grumpy and sorry for myself if my head was an itchy cactus! Hopefully he'll be back to his old self before long.

A little thin on the ground these days but a little update from us. It's been a couple of weeks since we lost dear Bailey and of course this loss has left Iris alone, apart from our little Half pint Frank of course. I was worried about Iris during the first week, she didn't eat well and seemed depressed, of course i wheeled out the big guns, millet, which she practically lived on for a few days, thankfully this week she is eating more normally. She has never been a very confidant bird but did well within a group. She is doing better than the first week but i'm going to have to watch her, she has lost weight bless her. Im spending much more time with her and Frank is doing his best, i tried letting him move in with her but she tolerates him for a while and then starts chasing him out of her cage so that's a no no. First day today that she came out, her doors are open all day but up until today she wouldn't venture out, Frank was quite chuffed bless him.

It must be hard for you too skysmum, seeing the flock you once had, to now only having Iris and little Frank. I hope they both learn to adapt, but they must miss the others.
