So as you know most of you have seen my normal grey rossi who was first bullied by his first friend then we found him another friend who he was very happy with. We returned home yesterday after a day out to find rossi had passed away and laid in an odd position. Lots of very dark blood on the bottom of the cage and around his vent. Absolutely nothing had been changed i've gone over it so many times. I just dont know what happened he was his usual self the night before and in the morning singing away and normal poo then while we were out it seems all he passed was blood. Devastated doesn't cover it. Cage has been thoroughly cleaned and rainbow is eating, drinking and singing. Occassionally calls for his lost friend. We buried rossi this morning. R.I.P my beautiful little boy. Mummy will miss you an incredible amount.
Im so very sorry, its a horrible shock to come home and find that . Don't beat yourself up, If its any comfort at all there was nothing you can have done, even if you had got him to vet in time. That type of bleed is upper intestinal and happens very quick. I lost a bud to it some years back.
RIP sweet boy x

Just absolutely devastated. Bought brocolli and cried because that was his favourite, sat by rainbow this morning just talking to him and tonight and got him out. Not changing his routine but its so odd not having rossi in the cage being noisy and deafening the whole room with his singing.
I am so sorry - what a shock for you. It will take awhile for you to get used to him not being around. Hopefully he is having fun over at Rainbow Bridge & telling his new mates how lucky he was with his earth family. Fly high Rossi.
