Does anyone want these? If so, send my your address by private message and I'll get them in the post. If there are no takers I'm going to get rid. My bird isn't interested in them and they are therefore just clutter. you'd have to watch the bird when playing with the crawly caterpillar as there's a metal bit.

Marianne I bought "Nugget the Chicken" for my two boys at Christmas. It sat for ages and they never looked at it, I even thought they might be frightened of it. Then one day they flew down to where it was and started to investigate. It is now a firm favourite. I put it on top of the cage and it wobbles and spins when they bop it, lol.

Tiny Tyler I feel would be terrified of either of these but Bonnie might have a go at the chicken. Mine never go to the cage floor though. Hope Marianne's flock have some fun

Thanks budgiebudgie, Chicken has arrived.. But at the moment, the only chickens are my boys.. they shot off when I put him in the playground. At the moment, he's getting suspicious side-ways glances from a distance.

Let Nugget be the millet bringer they won't be able to resist him and tell them last one down is a chicken.

My budgie at first appeared to be scared of it. She did eventually go and investigate it, but then it seemed as though she was totally indifferent to it and not interested at all. As everyone says about the stages of toys: fear, indifference, unbounded enthusiasm. We never made it to third base

Well, never mind tiny Tyler.....when I looked at Marianne's picture, I thought it was a bit scary always takes time for anything new doesn't it?

Sky was brave enough to eat millet from the farthest away perch from chicken. I brought chicken over to show jojo and she fell off her perch, ooops. Luckily the floor is padded

Sorry, JoJo, didn't mean to laugh ...... just couldn't help it. I think the eyes could be rather scary for the birds ...... particularly when you think that some caterpillars and butterflies have fake eyes to ward off predators ...... but my budgies still haven't brought themselves to go near my two pommy birds .... and they generally are not ones to take forever to adjust to newness. I can only imagine how they would react to those big eyes.
