No, not at all. "koppie krap" is well known! I think it is mainly with parrots though, every parrot knows koppie krap

Harper was 4/5 months old when i got him, I'm not sure if that qualifies as raising "from scratch"?

I am sooo enjoying him and can only imagine it will get better!

That's the problem, I'm not a parrot.
4/5 months is not exactly a chick, but is well young enough to bond with and train to your liking. As long as it suits his character that is. His character is probably beginning to show through now.

I think he will be just fine, he has a super little character. Not that I know about budgies, but he certainly has me sorted!
