Juju is enjoying his new foraging toy. Might not put so much seed in next time! I got this at the Exotic Veterinarian for around $6 US dollars, 3.500 Chilean Pesos. I like that it has a mirror so he can see himself eating.

Yes Hezz, seed or treats go into the bubble, to access the seed, the bird then has to learn to tip the bubble for the seed to fall onto the tray. I have one, I think my two thought.....why should I work for my grub when I can easily go to the seed dish, lol.

So far he hasn't tipped it himself, but he watched me tip it this morning so maybe he will figure out how to soon. There is a little "lip" and a hole and if he tips it downward the seed pours out, it is weighted a bit in the bottom so that it isn't so 'easy' to tip over also. He was scared of it until I showed him it was filled with seed. We bought it Saturday, and when he first laid eyes on it he flew to the top of my husband's head and eyeballed it from a distance It really is only good for seed, because it cannot be opened (to my knowledge), so unfortunately it is not a place for his beloved broccoli.... Haha.
