Thanks, guys. He's had a brilliant day today. It was raining most of the day so he got to eat our eggs at breakfast, got more than his usual quota of nose and cheek rubs, was the star of his own photo shoot, got to annoy Mummy and worry the pliers as she made him a new toy, then had a long head banging and yelling in Buglish session as we played some funky music videos. Then he simply wouldn't go back in his cage, as he decided he really really really likes the spaghetti part of Spag Bog.
All round top day for the bud. I knew he was hatching "naughty" plans right from the get-go this morning.

He has to be the most intellegent bird I've known Stace, he must have a master plan too Speaking of intelligence, Marc recounted a very odd dream about Boo last night. Desperate to go out and venture into the big wide world, but aware of all the dangers out there, the canny little thing had managed to "create" a sort of life-like human. This strange human form was some kind of cross between a Mummy and Frankenstein's Monster, but not at all scary. Boo had rigged up a miniature control room, accessed through a cage-like door in this humanoid's chest. From here, he controlled all the movements with a series of rudimentary levers and pulleys. And then he was off...inside his thrown-together human, who apparently, wasn't walking that well. All the movement was jerky and uncoordinated with arms and legs going all over the shop. Marc was calling to him "Come back, Boo. Come back!" The face of Boo's monster managed to turn around with this look of astonishment as he stumbled this way and that, as if to say, "Help me! I've bitten off more than I can chew this time".

What was really hilarious was the way OH acted the whole thing out while telling the tale.

My theory is that Boo is spiking his drinks , it sounds like a scene from Wallace and Gromit .

Going to sleep on OH's hand, he's decided to reform himself into a nice round ball shape. Must be all the Australian Open tennis we've been watching.

The Buds and Marc spent a lot of time bromancing this afternoon. Boo has a thing for noses. He prefers his cheeks to be rubbed with a nose rather than a finger, if at all possible. Later, I got my eyebrows preened in return. Wish he could pluck them as well. That would actually be useful.
