Boo's obsession with the microwave continues. As soon as he hears the door open or the beeps being made while I set the timer buttons, he's there in a flash. He sits with his head pushed up to the window so fascinated by it all, listening to the hum and watching it revolve around and around and around. Once it's finished, he flies off screaming. What a strange bird he is.

My 16-year-old nephew has decided he want to be an artist. He's having a fight with his parents over staying or not staying in school. While he's a very bright boy, he's just not interested in his school work anymore. He's done this picture, called The Blue Bird, inspired by stories my mother tells him about Boo from her regular visits with us. It's very Picasso-esque. (Although she clearly hasn't mentioned Boo's big yellow head.) wow your nephew is very talented ....i think he could make a living out of painting....mum and dad should back him all the way ..... .

I'd hate to think they were leaking anything at all!

Aren't they beautiful when they preen. Those feathers are just gorgeous. It always amazes me how they can control them to poof out, or pull them back tight in like a second skin. Quite clever really. Feathers are not like our hair at all, are they.

Some more preening shots on my shoulder. He's curled up like a nautilus shell in the first one.

He's so happy he's going to burst! I think he knows he's spoilt rotten. Look at his little blissed out eyes.

Just discovered a little soft ball of poop in my hair. I wonder where that came from! What! Who me?

He loves his mum. Today, especially, for some reason. He never does anything inappropriate, like feeding me or anything gross, but he does tell me how much he appreciates the things I do for him. When he's not off being curious or cheeky or naughty, he's a super affectionate little creature.

Very beautiful pictures Stace. Surely he is spoilt rotten and he knows it The feathers tell that he is in top health. Well done you Thanks BB. I've really made an effort from day one to keep him in good shape. Sadly, since his bad health scare earlier this year, he's really prone to infections/bacteria, so I now have to work extra hard to keep him healthy.
