Good camouflage. I could just see an eye in the last picture. But then my eyes are not good for those pictures. Doesn't he try and climb in amongst the tree?

No, he doesn't Colin. none of the birds are really interested in the tree strangely. I think all birds are a bit suspicious of new things and as the tree is only around for a few weeks they don't have time to get used to it. Save

Here's a quick one I just took. I'm having trouble with photobucket at the moment so this will have to do for now.

Gosh, that looks like a completely different bird to the one in your three previous pictures. He's a beauty.

Gosh, that looks like a completely different bird to the one in your three previous pictures. He's a beauty. He has a dark red tail that he was fanning out in the other pictures. He also has blue on him and red under his wings. He's a lovely bird but gets a bit bitey at times. Loves to hide in my hair and preen me. Save

Jeez, I don't think I'd like a bite from that beak, bad enough a budgie 😄

Jeez, I don't think I'd like a bite from that beak, bad enough a budgie 😄 It is quite painful but not a bad as the macaw, my husband has a scar on his finger from one of his bites. I've put Merlin to bed now, Cookie the dove is out now. He's just been humping my foot. What is it with these birds tonight? Save

I don't think I would like the biteyness of these bigger parrots. They certainly look beautiful, it's just the bigger beak that makes me wary. Just call me a wimp these days.
