I never thought of that Mick. Maybe their is more time yet for the eggs. BB I candled skys eggs but I don't (I)think(I) their fertile. They've been again though recently so perhaps their going for another clutch (sky and Tazz that is) . One of Hollys I'm positive (as I said earlier) is fertile and another one I think might be but it looks a little odd. :/

Holly broke/ate all eggs a couple of days ago. They can't possibly have been fertile (I checked the dates) so I think that's why she done t. Sky and Tazz I split up tonight-theirs where all infertile too (I candled them and checked dates). I Hoping to get another male and i might try again later in the year. Holly and Mak though will be pets only from now on. I'm going to work on taming them (Maks already semi tame so it shouldn't be too defficult) and hopefully I'll Tazz and sky again later in the year

I'm sorry Ryan. But like the others have said, try again another time.
I guess that not all birds are up to the job!

my above post was supposed to say i'll try sky and tazz again later in the year . (iv'e had to use my ipod the last couple of weeks due to laptop problems - hence the lack of updates and typos when i do actually update ;D - but my laptop seems to be working again) thanks all for the comments . Diego is coming into condition now, so she should be ok to breed in the summer time. Im still not sure on my lutino hen i think it's a she but im now not so sure. a quick question i noticed a few months ago sky had a bald patch on her chest but i didn't take much notice, but recently iv'e noticed just how strange it is - all the way down her chest (where the keel bone is) is bald, but it's usually covered up (unless she fluffs her self up) by the surrounding feathers (on her rib cage area) it's hard to explain. Her beak also seems to have gone white (i mean the actual beak not the cere) with a strange light purple at the top. i'll try and get a photo as it is hard to explain .

Most hens remove chest feathers to have direct contact of the skin with the eggs while incubating. That's why we see feathers in the nest boxes. These feathers regrow once the incubation is complete. White cere means that a hen is totally out of condition but white beak doesn't sound good. Take a closeup.
