I really don't think another budgie would have been involved as Pixie doesn't really like to be bothered!!!! she's a crabby hen!!! I'm going to have a look around the aviary now is if I can notice anything!!! I'm going to make a little soft food for her!!

thanks everyone!!! I clipped Pixie's toe nails as they were quite long!! I thought that they may bet stuck in the aviary mesh!!! She seems ok, roosting on one foot and tweeting away!!

Good luck with her, Gaile. Will her beak repair itself? I guess it depends how much is broken off, as they do constantly grow........
