BTW, this looks similar to the cage that Dalai was originally kept in.

I have seen this style of cage quite a few times in ads - people buy it because it looks nice & don't think about the welfare of the birds that have to live in it.

We are not Vets, Avian or otherwise. If you have any serious doubts about your budgies' health an appointment with an Avian vet should always be your first point of call.
