That's a good idea for getting new and different toys. Your birds, past and present, certainly have fun with them.

Having parrots I have to buy lots of toys and have been buying baby toys for them for many years. You can buy job lots of toys on Ebay, they can be cleaned with F10 and they are good to go.

Baby teething rings are great for hanging toys from the roof of the cages as they have a break in the links and can be joined together to make chains, or used singly to hold a toy ...... best thing is they don't rust like metal links do .... much cheaper, as well.

Thanks ffiscool, I've got to say your exhibition quality bird is truly stunning, perfect feathers, lovely deep mask and a superb blow, do you breed them or did you buy the grey? There must be a good bloodline because in my opinion you can't achieve much better than that.

It's a good job Bailey can't read (can he?) or he will start getting obsessed with his good looks.....oh, wait a minute.... Although, I have to admit, you are right @impeckably.

Bailey loves himself already, SO much, his head can't get bigger, lol I got him from a breeder. But he now lives with skysmum and her brood. I sadly became allergic to his dander, so my lungs blocked up. Thank though for your comments :-). I visit him every 6 months ,and am still obviously on here - love reading about everyone's buds and a great bunch of people

If anyone is struggling with new toy ideas i purchased and have given my birds a kabob chew toy from my avian vet i believe it is a yukka branch . They appear to be fine with it and its taking some of the abuse off their perches . Not sure how to add photos but if you do a search on ebay for kabob it looks like a tube with holes drilled in it i broke a section of bark off between the drilled holes and scratched tge soft inner to give the birds a head start as they didnt know what to do with the new object

Hellooo there used to be a lady called Karen really lovely lady who lived in Scotland and she supplies the things you need to make bird toys with and also makes lovely toys, I have searched high and low in my e-mails for her details but I think I erased them when our last budgie passed away. Now we have a new baby budgie I need to contact her to order some things. Please can anyone help me do you know who I am talking about, she has a website but I can't find it or remember the name. Thank you every so much pls feel free to PM me if you want to.
