Most people are probably moaning about how cold it is!
I love the cold weather. I am too warm in a coat outside when I am walking.

I realise your photos where from the wharf - you told us that, I just loved being out in the parks when the sun was out. Enjoy your sunshine while it lasts, Marianne. A lovely time time to get some walking in and give your lung capacity a stretch.

Just as a quick statistical comparison I found this:
Napier (New Zealand) vs British Cities Annual Hours of Sunshine
Napier London Edinburgh Birmingham 2,200 1,500 1,350 1,400

Thanks Stace. Did you find any comparison between UK cities?

Re: It's not quite Canary Wharf - that is a 25 minute walk down the road. I guess it didn't take long via a speedboat! I do love the river when it is a sunny day. Today was so cold that it felt like I had frost bite down my throat! I don't live too far from Wembley Stadium... we can see the stadium lit up at night. We are a few stops down the Jubille tube line from it. Today was cold. I am currently sitting in front of the log burner blazing away whilst I am drinking white wine. I hope that doesn't encourage me to write something silly later?! Why can't I send emicoms or whatever they're called? I'll write it instead - Smiley face, winking face!
