I am sad to say our Bluey passed away an hour ago, i cleaned his bum of poo this morning but when i put him back in the cage he fell to the floor, i picked him up he gasped and then was gone i have lost confidence in avian vets for the time being as he was given a clean bill of health only a week and a half ago, he didn't look happy thats why i had booked another appointment but it was a weeks time and the little guy couldn't wait that long.

I am so sorry to read this bud9, especially as you only took Bluey to the vets recently so this must have come as a shock. You done your best for Bluey so take some comfort from that. My thoughts are with you and little Bluey. Fly high little man xxxxx

I hope you don't mind, but I am going to move Bluey's post to "fields of millet", this is where we usually share news of our dear birds departure.

I can completely understand your loss of faith. Bluey surely deserved better from a so-called expert. I am so sorry for you, Bluey and Joey, his friend.
RIP big beautiful boy. xx

Not really that old then, You'd think the vet would have spotted something. I'm glad you were with him when he passed.
