Welcome to my world, although my condition is somewhat different to yours. Depending on your web browser and computer you should certainly be able to enlarge the web page and adjust the fonts. If you could tell us what web browser/operating system you are using we may be able to help you further.

I can zoom in when I am on the computer ok, Im using a Mac with Safari but my issue is when I am on the iPad. Apart from enlarging the whole screen, I just can't work out how to make it bigger. The problem with enlarging the whole screen is then I can't see the whole line of type at the same time so I have to scroll along to read it.

I understand what you are saying, quite frustrating but I don't think there is much can be done with iPad's and the smaller screen devices. I am unable to see two words without scanning with my head, very tiring and that's on the computer screen.

I don't know anything about ipads, I use a netbook and I can just hold down CTRL and zoom in with my mouse wheel.

thanks Marianne Marlow, yes I know you can do this but it alters everything on the iPad, I was just wondering if there were settings to make the type on the forum website bigger, its the only one I struggle with. No worries.

If you can remember to do it each time helenmat go to the 'font size' on your post, for the forum, and adjust it that way, it only works for each post thaat's why you have to remember to do it each time. This is font size 4. Is that the sort of thing you are looking for? I know it only helps for the post you are actually typing and not for anyone elses!
