Regulars may remember me from a couple of years ago when I was trying to work out if my new blue baby Billy (see profile pic) was a girl or boy.
This afternoon I came home from four nights away and found him sitting on the floor of the cage, dead. My friend came in Wednesday evening to feed them and said that both he and Alfie were fine then. I'm utterly devastated. He wasn't even three.
Does anyone have any idea what may have caused it? He was just sitting on the floor with his eyes closed. When I picked him up he seemed to have some droppings stuck to him but that may have happened because he was too weak to move.
I want him back so much. I think I've spent an hour crying solidly. He was hand tamed and the most adorable little boy. Alfie my green boy seems fine and not showing any signs of illness. He's 5. Probably glad to have his cage back to himself again.
Fly high Billy. Wait for me at the rainbow bridge.
Xxx
