Hey everyone. Some of you may remember me introduce our Bruce a couple of years ago when we first rescued him. He was a very quiet and scared bird, as unfortunately he was traumatised by a child in previous home. We worked on him and he soon became a lot more chatty and loved to fly around, but still wouldn’t let us near him. Around April last year we decided to get him some company as we’d seen a new local breeder advertising young birds. So we then introduced Bella. They soon became best of friends with a love/hate relationship, bickering at dinner time but then at the same time pruning each other. We notice Bruce come out of his shell pretty quickly. Unfortunately, our circumstances have changed and we can no longer have the birds in with us, so I built an aviary in the garden, with the intention of moving out and maybe expanding into a flock. I realised I’d ran out of good weather before moving them so they’re still indoors, but after a lot of consideration, we’ve decided it probably wouldn’t be fair once we get around to putting them out there as we don’t spend as much time as we’d like to even now while they are in with us. So it’s very sad to ask, would anyone like to take these 2 little beaut’s into their loving home?

It's a shame that you have to give up Bruce and Bella. I hope you find them a good home.

How sad. Obviously I am of no use to you, but I really do hope you find a good home for Bruce and Bella through the forum. WEST SUSSEX, anybody??

Woking to West Sussex is a mere brisk walk. Considering the distance I travelled for Whiskers. I'm sure the journey could be done by most forms of transport, maybe other than walking that is. P.S. Are you reading this thread connor79

Thanks you all for your comments, it makes me really sad reading all this back it’s a shame none of you are able to have them. I specifically put them on here knowing they will go to a proper loving home. I will have to advertise them locally, but I think I’ll ask to see there Home before letting them go. Hezz: thank you so much for sending a potentially good home a message.
