This is Harry and Megan they are at Millbrook animal rescue (https://www.rspca-millbrook.org.uk/visit-us Tel: 0300 123 0740). Poor little souls were found dumped in the street in the freezing cold in a tiny cage. I have thought about this long and hard but space wont allow atm Thought i would share on here to help them find a loving home.

Who ever dumped them was in hope that they would be found as they had the thought to put them in a cage. No excuse as the person could hav taken them to a rescue center. I don't have room for two more and I don't know where the rescue center is.

Sorry M i should have been more specific. This is their website www.rspca-millbrook.org.uk/ , the buds are on their facebook page. I was alerted yesterday and i think they were found on Saturday. As you say folks at least they left them in a cage and didn't just let them out to fend for themselves which is something i guess. They are the image of my little Evie and George

Based on the comments on their Facebook page, there appears to be strong interest and a good chance for a happy outcome here. Hope so.

They get budgies in quite regularly skysmum and rest assured that Millbrook will make sure they go to a good home. There was someone on here a few months back that wasn’t happy because Millbrook refused to rehome a budgie (or could have been two) to him as he didn’t have an aviary. I saw a lovely tame one once, before I got Chirpy, called Buddy but as I don’t have an aviary I didn’t apply for him.

Oh I remember that Jane, I can't remember the guys username but I remember the post. There are two near me at the RSPCA. OH has said no more and I have to agree, we are at optimum numbers for the aviary and I don't want to compromise the happiness of the others with over crowding. But, I did note the rspca near me said in the advert the budgies were to be rehomed to someone with an aviary OR a large cage, which I thought was fair. I don't understand why all the rspca centers don't have the same policy. Rehoming to just people with aviaries seems unfair to me and narrows down the chance of them being rehomed.
