Well i haven't had the best year with losing a few little guy's but last night stan was playing with joey, flitting about chasing each other then joey decided he was hungry so went off for some seed and stan flew up to a branch and just seemed to fall off hit the bottom of the cage, his wing twitched a couple of times and he was gone, i just could not believe how quick it happened he was not ill seemed happy had been scratting around the bottom with the boys and everything was fine, i just can not believe how quick he passed away Devastated to say the least.
I am so sorry to hear this news about Stan. At least you saw it happen, so you know it was quick, which is best for him but unfortunately a shock for you. Fly high Stan & carry on playing over by rainbow bridge.
I am so sorry, bud9. I can only repeat what others have said - he didn't suffer and you saw what happened; while you might not have all the answers, at least you aren't wondering did he hit something, did he eat something, was he frightened by something?
Rest in Peace, little Stan.
We are not Vets, Avian or otherwise. If you have any serious doubts about your budgies' health an appointment with an Avian vet should always be your first point of call.
So so sorry to hear your sad news. Fly high Stan. Xxx
