You need to use the "Desktop" version on your phone. Once you've done that hit the REPLY button on the right hand side. Then hit the "ADD IMAGE TO POST" button at the top left hand side. This will take you into your photo library. You can upload your pictures from there.
Hope that helps.

I've tried this several times but it doesn't work. It goes through all the motions but the picture just doesn't appear in the post. Is there any other way, as I need to Bluetooth the pic to my computer and upload from there.... Which is a pain.

The only time jellybean's instructions haven't worked for me is when I haven't hit the "Post Reply" button afterwards. I did that rather recently and couldn't work out why the photo wasn't showing up ... until I realised I wasn't following through with the rest of the post.

That sounds really simple... great.
Is there a need for a small sized jpeg as that is sometimes the problem on some sites?
I am delighted to hear I no longer need to use a secondary web-housing site - it is such a faff finding the site, downloading the there and then adding the web address for each single image.
I massive improvement... I may even have a go at adding a photo or two myself now I know. Thanks all.

If it's the tinypic.com site you plan to use Learner, there is a box for "forums" just copy and paste to that.

If you use your mobile (or mine, anyway), at the bottom of the page there is a "desktop mode". Use that and you can go straight through the "Add image to post" steps to add photos straight from your source. Using these steps gives you the smaller version of the photo, but we can simply click on that photo to open another page with the photo enlarged. Oh, Learner, where have you been all this time?? Maybe it was added when you were away being busy. If you are using your lap top, go straight to "add image to post" just under your subject heading.

I wondered if things had changed at all since I last uploaded a photo to here. I am also a member of an Allotment Forum and they appear to have managed to dispense with the need for a secondary photo housing site. Now, on their platform, you can simply drag and drop from your photo albums directly to their site (a bit like face book in some ways). I am lousy at going through the process of uploading to another site and then using the web-link to repost in another... It is a faff all the more so as it takes me ages to decide which of a huge bunch of photos might look the best once shared. Never min... not taken many photos of the budgies recently... busy sorting out my son's koi carp pond and sending photos of the fish to him as he has moved home... But - thanks for the thread and the advice.

Learner, did you read the part about using "Add image to post"?? You don't have to go through another hosting site, but can pull up the photos on either your laptop or phone from this. Only thing is if using your phone you do need to go onto desktop mode.

Only thing is if using your phone you do need to go onto desktop mode. I am being a bit slow... it's the heat (no excuse really as it was cooler when I first read the posts!!). Many thanks... that makes life so much easier.. Is there a file size restriction as there once needed to be on many forums? I guess easiest way for me to find out is give it a go. Again - thanks Hezz .. now no longer as clear as mud. I got it... the penny dropped.
