That Driza-bone ad was around when OH and I were first together, around 25 years ago. There were two huge poster-size on each side of department store door that stocked the brand. On the left-hand side was big gorgeous looking man with his Driza-bone coat on and the slogan "When a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do". On the other side was the one I showed .... "When a woman's gotta do what a man shoulda done". It is one of those things that just hit a nerve, nailed a point. I don't think I will ever forget it. So once I fixed the *&$# fence wire, I found this link and sent it to OH by messenger saying "remember the Drizabone ad?" with the added message ..... one dog fence fixed - (tick) (I don't know how to do a tick on a keyboard) and also told him he had better be impressed and he could tell me later how good I was. Then had to ring him yesterday morn to say that while the wire was fixed the bl**dy collar was not working properly. Sigh!!! Soooo, poor Mac is still tied up, on a long lead, but still. He was good all day until it got to dark. I think I'll have to go buy him a steak tomorrow; he is still not eating well (side effect of prozac) but will eat up his meat when there is something for him.

One sausage and two chick necks down, then found a toad in his water. So funny though, I gave him his sausage while he was on his bed ... the bed has a hole in it, so of course the sausage dropped through the hole. The hole was just big enough for him to get his nose into, but not far enough through to pick up his sausage. I do wish I had had the camera.
