why I can't see 'postimage' pictures that peeps put up on the forum? I'm sure I used to be able to see them before a few days ago.

I don't know, Shirls, but I am going to move this to feedback and help.

Have look at your browser security settings. It may be set to not allow redirecting from one site to another. You could also try clearing your browser cache. Whilst on a page that doesn't show the picture reload that page and see if the picture appears.
There are quite a few reasons for that problem

I'm nut sure why, but OP seems to have a few ideas.
It's not the first time this has happened for you Shirls, what solved it last time?

I think it rectified itself Marianne, or perhaps people weren't using postimaage. I can always see skysmums pictures. I'm not sure I have enough computer savvy to try what OP has suggested but will have a look in a mo. When I go into the picture and 'postimage' comes up, a message comes up that it is 'not safe' so it must be my security settings. Where is my 'browser cache' Colin?

I have now posed the question on-line about where to find the cache, and deleting this may lose some information I wouldn't want to lose. I have also asked how to view the postimage pictures. Will have to see what someone comes up with, in laymens terms, if anyone bothers to answer that is.

It seems like your browser is doing its job. In that case you need to find out why Explorer thinks the site is not safe. I wouldn't reduce the Security until you find out. Have you tried clicking on the mesage? Sometimes it will give you more information. Skysmum uses her own image hosting service, you should find that my images show up as well for that reason. Postimage allows quite a few dodgy ads through its system. I have a good adblocker which pPostimage doesn't like. They want me to spend money so I can brows this site without their banners popping up. You should be able to find all the settings in the menu(s) of your browser. Sorry to get all technical but ti is a tech savvy world.

Wish I could help you Shirls, but I'm not very tech savvy either. I'm better if things are shown to me rather than explained. Hope you get it sorted.
