Superb photos. How did you train them to come and pose on command.

I stood from afar and zoooooooooomed. No, really, a rare one when both decided to take a "chair" each. (As opposed to fighting over the one.)

That's so sweet. I hope Mango appreciates it.
Misty and Spyro are good boys (hope I got their names right!)

Mango only appreciates Misty, even if the poor boy sends himself sick trying to make her happy. Spyro comes calling and she will acknowledge him but he really doesn't get much of a look in.

That's a shame, I've always thought Spyro was very pretty!
He's the one that broke his little leg isn't he?

Yes, Marianne Marlow, Spryo is the birdy who broke his spindly leg. It doesn't seem to cause him any grief at all. The only thing I see (and whether due to the break or just him being lazy I'll never know) him do is climb the bars to get onto a swing rather than jump, and similar with going into the cage - he'll climb down and around to get in rather than simply fly down. His posture has always been as a sloucher, it used to worry me. Now I don't even notice unless I see photos like this.

They do look like 2 little guards. We are not so posh here.... when required, we have visitors' pegs!

Love those dolly pegs Hezz, we have common 'pinch together' pegs here, the dolly pegs look so much more comfortable. Must get some for the buds.

The dolly pegs look like they are made to measure chairs. Spoilt buds!

They are very cute and look so content there, lovely pictures as usual Hezz How is Mango these days, is she well in herself? She is, Sam. She and Misty still canoodle through the bars, he feeding her religiously. She looks a physical mess with her legs going all which ways, her bent spine and lipoma near her rear end, although vet said she thinks it is fluid filled, not fatty and thinks it would be easy enough to take off. It doesn't impair her in anyway, just looks bad, so removal won't happen unless it is necessary. Her plumage is great, she still looks after herself, it's just the other things ... She still flies around for a short time but sometimes misjudges a landing - she landed on Loki's cage last week and wasn't quick enough flying off again. He got her by the foot and made it bleed a little. She screamed blue murder, luckily, and he let go when I arrived, so now when she is out I put an old sheet over the top of his cage. No more nipped feet, thank you very much! Of course he didn't understand why I wasn't happy with him. I don't know what it is about those two, they have never liked each other, and Loki is so good with the two budgie-boys.
