She's turning into a chubby little thing. Quite different from the fragile and skinny looking baby that she was.

She's lovely Marianne, glad she's sleeping for you. Our grand daughter just started sleeping through at 3 years old. Well done Eve.

Thank you Sue
My sisters little one isn't sleeping through the night yet and he is a year and 8 months. She's had a very sleepless time with him.

Awww love her Marianne, she's a sweetie. They grow and change so fast, she is obviously content going through the night now. I remember when mine first slept through the night, i woke in a right panic to check on them

I have been quite reluctant to let her sleep through the night because the current advice is not to let them until they are 12lbs. They're not supposed to be able to sustain themselves that long without a feed until that weight.
Admittedly we don't know her current weight. She was last weighed on 24th May and was 10lbs 13. She must be at least 12lbs by now!! I put her in a sleepsuit just now that is meant to be 3-6 months and it's almost too short in the body, I am wondering if she will be tall, unlike me!

Marianne Marlow, I am very, very late to this party and I have been wondering about you but as I missed the birth of Eve I didn't like to ask in case anything bad had happened. Huge, Huge congratulations to you and your Hubby. My daughter Holly went to full term and still only weighed 6lb 4oz. She didn't sleep very well for ages no matter what I did, we were still having bedtime wars when she was 2! I'm so glad Eve is settling in to a good routine. I'm so happy for you. Big hugs! xx

I was nearly 7 weeks early, weighed 4lbs. I couldn’t tell you about if I slept or not, but can safely say, my light birth weight, was not light for long lol :-)

Marianne, don't be too concerned about sizings or even developmental guidelines as they are only that - guidelines. All babies progress at different rates, as skysmum has said, they grow and change so quickly, and they do all even out in the end. She's doing brilliantly.

Big hugs! xx Thank you Helen. Yes I did think 6lbs 2 was a good weight for 4 weeks early. I was nearly 7 weeks early, weighed 4lbs. I couldn’t tell you about if I slept or not, but can safely say, my light birth weight, was not light for long lol :-) Wow, 4lbs! Someone was telling me her daughter was born at 28 weeks and was 3lbs. Ohhhh look at her in her basket, she's adorable M . She is long love her, is hubby tall?, she wont be in her basket for much longer me thinks Husband is about 6ft. She definitely doesn't get her height from me, I'm 5ft 4. Yes, we will have to build her cot soon, we have been putting it off because it's massive and will take up so much space in the bedroom!! Awww love her Marianne, she's a sweetie. They grow and change so fast, she is obviously content going through the night now. I remember when mine first slept through the night, i woke in a right panic to check on them I think we must have all done this, skysmum. Yep. It's so worrying!!
