Hi all, so after a few years off keeping budgies I have decided I'm going to go ahead with what I had planned years ago and breed them! I have a 8x10 ft shed that's fully insulated , lighting and heating is going in some time next week hopefully and then it's time to build the flights. (I'm buying breeding cages with built in nest boxes) My question is, what material would you recommend to make the flights out of and where to buy (uk) as I don't fancy a wooden frame with mesh as it's going to need replacing a lot quicker than a metal 1. But I'm struggling finding metal panels at a reasonable price (all over £1000 for the size I'm looking for) which I don't mind paying but surely there's somewhere cheaper ! I'll post pictures of the shed / progress inside once a little more done Thanks in advance, Scott:)

If UK is anything like Australia, then no, there is no alternative, except a steel frame, which can be a pain to deal with as well. Pre-made panels are expensive anywhere, I think, from reports.
