Hello all 👋, I was wondering if anyone could help me? I’ve had my two budgies since 2nd April 2019, I managed to capture a photo of them after they flew off my hand after having their spray millet! I was wondering if anyone could help with their age/gender? Also, are they both Australian budgies? English budgies? I know it’s not the best photo, but I’m trying to not scare them by shoving a phone in their face

I don't know their ages, but in the top photo, the bird on the left is a hen and the right is a male.

Agree with Marianne - top photo hen on the left, cock on the right. As for age, there are no indicators for determining age of budgies once they have reached maturity which both of yours have. They look like normal pet type budgies to me, not exhibition/show budgies.

Your hen's beak doesn't look overly long to me, but if you are concerned, make sure they have plenty of toys to chew and shred such as balsa blocks. Whatever you do don't try trimming it yourself.
