Passed away this morning. I can't stop crying. I knew in my heart last night when I put them to bed that I didn't think he'd make it. Here is the last picture I took of him on Sunday. I loved him with all my heart.

I'm so sorry jellybean I was really hoping that Max could be with you (and Ben) for a few more years. There are 14 of my lovely previous birds to give him a lovely welcome.

Thank you Marianne, and thanks for enlarging the picture.
I'm heartbroken, Ben is lost without him, they've never been apart in 5 1/2 years, I don't know how to try and comfort his loss.

Oh, poor Ben I know exactly how you feel. When Monty lost Eric he did not sing for a week. I even slept on the sofa near his cage every night so he wouldn't be alone. I did eventually get him two friends - Snowy and Roswell and he perked up immediately.

I don't know what to do with Max, I live in a flat and don't have a garden to bury my beautiful boy.

Do you have a balcony jellybean? If so, buy a pot and a rose or a flower that you like and bury him underneath, so evertime you look at your flower you'll know your beloved boy is helping it grow xx

I go through a pet crematorium called Sunnyfields, but obviously they are in England. But there must be alternatives in Scotland.
