Brand New Budgie

Hi all, I am new to this forum. I have some questions. My wife and I have a hatchling that we had to hand raise due to our hen not taking care of it.
But my real question is. If I have a tame budgie and I put it into a cage with other not so tame budgies, will it lose its tameness?
We are still a few weeks out from our hatchling being place back with the group. ( Getting ready to fledge in about a week)
I am still new to budgies, and learning what I can on raising hatchlings so any advise.
( No I did not, nor do I plan on breeding, my pair started the process before I realized what was going on, after 2 years of having them and nothing before this time)

That depends so much on how much interaction you continue to have with the tame bird. If not much, then the bird will build stronger bonds with the rest of the flock; if you continue to be very much part of its everyday life, take time to play and interact, keeping the bond strong, then the bird will continue to see you are part of its flock.

As Hezz has said, if you keep up the interaction with the tame bird then it will likely stay tame. I rehomed a tame bird (Blithe) a few years back and he is still tame despite being friends with 6 other rehomed birds, only 1 of which is tame.
