Hezz (Of course anyone else is welcome to comment if interested ) I found a finch mix from the zolux crunchy meal and I can hardly see any oats (actually none) I added pics below I will add this mix for more variety with the trill mix (hopefully I’ll also find the finch version from it), will let you know when I do Thank you so much for all your help I go to pet stores now and I keep reading all the ingredients ;D

That looks like your little friends will be very happy with their new food. Anything that gives more variety has to be a good thing. You will be the expert in small bird seed mixes at this rate, lol.

Hezz and anyone interested I found the Trill brand for finches it sure is more colorful than the budgie mix They have no oats, ingredients are written on the side of the box (in pictures attached of both finch and budgie mixes), what do you think ? I will make a mix of both with the other mixes I shared here before 👍 Any input is always appreciated

I would mix these up for sure. The budgie mix is top-heavy with oats, for sure, so anything to reduce that is a good thing. I used to use a colander to sift out the oats from the budgie mix, that seemed to work fairly well, but did take up a decent amount of time. that was before I wised up and moved to the finch mixes. I really hope your birds appreciate how much time you dedicate to doing the best you can for their diet! Of course they won't, and just take it as their due.

It's so weird how Trill is different all over the world. I realise they all source from different places, but it always surprises me to see a different version of Trill.
I bought some to mix in with my budgie bravo, for variety and it looks totally different to this.

I’m assuming that the one in the UK is better than the ones in Saudi Arabia 😁

I think yours has more oats, but they both have the suspicious green blobs!

I used to feed Pickle Trill and then they changed the mix to include the Nutrivit or whatever it is. He wouldn’t touch it after that. They definitely changed it and not for the better. There were loads of budgies that wouldn’t eat it at the time. I now mix canary/finch in with a basic Budgie mix. Or if I’m feeling flush I buy Haiths Tip Top Budgie mix.

Ohh that’s bad 😕 i can’t find a good mix here and this is one of the better ones that I found (no dyes), so I mix it with the other mixes for more variety

Yes, Trill is nothing like it used to be. I occasionally buy it to mix in with the budgie bravo. Just for a change.
