How are you Marianne Marlow, you alright? Did you manage to think of something that would be suitable? I'd love to put a wine rack or cargo net out but I don't have anywhere to put it. Still a bit stuck. Wish Polly could come out and play with her friends, I hate having to keep them locked up

Thanks and I don't mean to be dismissive, but I don't have tables in the living room and Eve will be learning to crawl soon.

I'd like that - filled ... with either budgies or wine. Either would do.

We used to have a hanging basket bracket to hang stuff from. Since we have come to the ground floor the walls are solid concrete so really difficult to put anything up, even pictures! I do understand the space issue being in a flat

I have taken some photos of the set up here, it may help with suitable ideas I'll upload when I have edited them to make them a bit smaller.

Okay, so here are the photos: Firstly the cagesBlithes cage (used to share with Basil and Custard, but I lost them this year) George and LucyLemon (used to share with Polly, but Polly had to move in with Hector after falling off her swing and being unable to get back up due to a fatty lump) - Previously this was Polly and Pete's cage, that they arrived in. Pollys cage (used to share with Hector but he passed away a short time ago)
Play areas
The mirror (complete with an idiot looking into it)
By the balcony doors and on top of George and Lucy's cage. A few swings, soap dishes on the window, a playground made by natural bird product company and some seed dishes.
The racks on the wall, some toys, seed dishes and a playground.

you have a lot given you are short of space. so other than the wine rack, there maybe other wall mounted things that would give them more to look at/play with?

samwiseg Have you tried Command strips? I wish I had ideas for you, Marianne, but your set up already looks more entertaining than mine!

They’re really good for sticking things to walls without damaging the wall.
