Has anyone else noticed Haith’s price increase?! I was paying £9.30 for 5kg Bravo Budgie seed now it’s £11.80! Same with their tonic seed which was £3.60 for 1kg is now £5.80. They also don’t sell oyster shell grit in 500g bags anymore apologies for being a moaning myrtle, maybe I should email and ask or am I being unfair and that’s a usual kind of price increase?? P.S. hi to everyone who still remembers me, Sky & Sol (I’m not always this moany, promise ).

Hi mintysowner, it's lovely to see you back on the forum again. That is a bit of a hike in price from Haith's. I just bought 500g of Oystershell grit from them the other week, thank goodness, because I'd never get through a 1kg bag. Maybe you could email them and explain you only have 2 birdies, they might accommodate you. How are you and the birdies doing? Hope you're all well.

Hi mintysowner, how you all doing? How’s the buds? That’s quite a hike in prices so I don’t blame you for being a bit disgruntled.

Hi mintysowner nice to hear from you, hope you are keeping well and feeling better. How are the buds doing? I thin everyone is putting prices up.

Shall we blame good ol’ Brexit? Seriously, though, prices for lots of things seem to be going up lately, and not just slightly. :/

That’s a big price rise, maybe all of us that shop there should have a little moan? I for one will be...

That is a big jump. My issue is that I only have one bird and to buy the amount of seed I need plus delivery cost just makes it silly.

I only have Charlie to feed and like all of us I want the best for him, I am going to phone them and ask if it’s a mistake.......I think we all expect prices to rise a bit ...but that’s not a BIT.....

Even if you can bulk buy and store the seed without it spoiling, that’s still one heck of a rise!
We all want good quality seed for our budgies, but there is a limit to what people can afford.

I’m wondering whether the prices are right. I bought a small packet of mineralised tonic grit in April at a cost of £1.80 and the price is now showing as £5.40!!

Do you think if we all enquire as to whether there’s a mistake with the pricing they might realise that the increase is rather steep? (If it isn’t actually a mistake, that is.)
