I'm up late - late for me, anyway. Sweet dreams x Thanks! I did sleep well. New mattress (first in 20-something years), plus new mattress protector and so why not new sheets as well? Same precious pillow, though.

They are both happier in their cages at the moment it seems, I got them both out this morning and they had a fly round which was great to see and then they shared some greens and then had a play on top of Archie's cage. Alex had then on his shoulder for a while too. I've put them away for now as I need to tidy up outside. Will get them back out in a bit.

They are now playing tug of war with a bit of plastic string. So happy.

It just gets better. I have been baking this afternoon so have been in and out of the dining kitchen. They have more or less been together all afternoon. Here they are on the new play gym. They have been there about 40 minutes. Eric has been asleep for a while so he obviously feels relaxed. He has had a bit of a peck at Archie earlier but just to tell him off for getting too close. Archie has been backwards and forwards from the cage to the play gym and Eric has just sat watching him, taking it all in. All I know is if it was just Eric he would have gone in ages ago.

FANTASTIC, Isn't it great watching the young ones, Archie sounds so much like Sam, on the go, nap, on the go.
Also, Archie sounds like he will bring Eric out of his shell.
Sam certainly did that with Ben, I had Ben at the vet after Max died, he was scratching his bum continually, vet said he had bad bacteria in his poop.
Since Sam came on the scene, he hasn't scratched his bum once, his poops no longer stick to him, and his plumage is the best I've seen for a long time.
If I was asked NOW what Ben's problem was, my answer would be, STRESS & LONELINESS.
It's great what one little bird can do.

The change just in two days is remarkable jellybean. I have definitely done the right thing, no doubt whatsoever.
