I just don't know how to serve it, should I take the seeds out, or just cut a piece whole and pin it up and let them pick at it.

Iv'e never tried it either JB, thought about it though. I would probably pop the seeds into a shallow dish, this is how i serve the tinned natural sweetcorn, they love picking it out and twirling it round to get the soft bit. I would imagine they would do the same with pomegranate. I know they don't have many taste buds but the skin bit is horribly bitter and may put them off.
