I tried multiple different platforms but i couldn't get any anwsers for my plight. I got a budgie(first time owner of any kind of pet) 3 weeks ago, he was 7 weeks old, first and 2nd week everything went fantastic, he trusted me to touch him, he was flying on my head and shoulder always screaming for me to play with him etc. But right now something seems so wrong with my budgie, first the last couple of days he began losing feathers, as i am writing this he lost all his tail feathers, he also have difficulties flying he cant seem to fly up anymore just straight and is always very hesitant to fly, he keeps jerking backwards and forward a 4-5 times before taking off ( and only flying straight he cant seem to get altitude). Another thing is that I found him in the corner of his cage today laying down on his side he also has a few dark spots on his beak, his cere seems to be normal clear pink nothing else. Is something seriously wrong with him ?? Should i take him tomorrow at a veterinarian asap ?
Thank you so much in advance i only want the best for this little guy and it makes me feel so sad only thinking that there might be something seriously wrong with him.

The feather loss could be a moult, but the beak discolouration spots could be bruising or a deficiency of some kind of vitamin. Does your bird have access to sunlight, or do you have a uv lamp for them?
Is your bird eating and drinking, is it warm enough and are the droppings normal or runny and green?
The laying in the corner is a red flag and your little bird along with these other symptoms needs an avian vet to assess urgently and give medication before it's too late. .

Healthy birds do not lay on their side. This bird needs an avian vet urgently.

I'd like to see some photos of what is causing your concern, but in reality if you feel that your bird is not healthy, get it to a vet as soon as possible. Birds go downhill very quickly because they hide illness until they can't possibly hide it any longer.
Has he banged into a wall or something? It is possible that the markings on his beak is bruising which he will recover from. It is possible that he is moulting (may be slightly older than you were told) and this, too, he will get over, but finding a young bird listless on the bottom of the cage is a red flag to indicate that something is not right. I'm wondering if he may have banged into a wall or window etc and has concussion.

Thank you for the all the replies ! I went this morning with him to an avian veterinarian and he got some injections also got antibiotics.Apparently he has some virus that will haunt him his whole life and will cripple his ability to fly. She said that i should expect more feathers to fall off and if he is lucky new ones will grow but it has a high chance that they grow crooked. She also said that he isin't gonna die or anything but it's good that i brought him so quickly. He is a bit "mad" at me atm and probably will stay a bit mad for a little longer since i will have to grab him to administer his antibiotcs for a whole week.

Well done on getting him help so quickly. So sorry about his ability to fly being affected. You might have to keep an eye on him and perhaps but a towel at the bottom of his cage at least until he has realized that he can no longer fly with the accuracy that he did before. I am so glad that he can live with this.

Thank you for caring for him and especially for taking him to the vet urgently.

It does sounds as though your budgie might have French Moult. Is that what the vet was talking about?? clt80 ... we were thinking the same lines.

So long as he stays well, he can live with French Moult fine. If he is struggling to get around, lower the perches and put in a couple of ladders so he can climb around. As already said you could put something soft like a folded towel under the paper at the bottom of his cage, just in case he does fall.

FM doesn't really explain why he was lying on his side at the bottom of the cage, though. Hopefully that was a one-off and doesn't happen again.
