Love the school photo. I bet the newbies can't believe their luck.

Great to see them all together, seeing as the flock almost doubled overnight.

After yesterday nights grabbings, Iris decided to go in on her own tonight. Just 5 minutes before I was talking to her, telling her that if she went into the cage she wouldn't be grabbed. She came out and went in again, but Billy didn't get the message unfortunately.
So 3 grabbings, maybe Billy will follow her in tomorrow.
Colin gave us the usual run around, seems that he is determined to go in last. I swear that I can hear him screaming "ha ha catch me if you can!"
Daisy is a biter!

Ooooh i almost missed this news, look at them all together for their school pic , you can certainly spot the first years at the back flanked by the more mature members of the class keeping a beady eye on them A full house again Marianne, just lovely. It's beginning to feel a bit thin on the ground in Budshire if i'm honest, long time since i only had 5 .

How do you grab them - I can't even grab Tweetie Pie when he's in his cage (not that I want to, just in an emergency).

I only meant to rehome a couple more though, 4 is a bit of a handful all at once!

I've been standing by the light switch and Paul has been grabbing them in the dark. They're flighty little things though, especially the elusive Colin! I hope they'll all start to go in on their own soon. Iris has, so that is a start! Of course this grabbing method only works if the room is totally dark!

How was last night's bedtime antics Marianne? Iris went in on her own. I tried to coax Billy in with her and he almost did a few times, skirting around the doorway. But alas Billy, Daisy and Colin all needed to be grabbed. It doesn't scare them and as soon as they're back in their cages they either preen eat or stand on one foot. Colin does not like to go in at night! He flies to the top of the curtain rail, back and forth and I'm like piggy in the middle trying to get him to go lower so Paul can grab him.

You're not going to believe it but they all went in to their cage tonight on their own.
First Iris, I just asked her to go in for bedtime.
Then a minute later Colin followed her in.
Then I spent five minutes coaxing Billy in, it seems that he's great at getting out of doors but doesn't realise that he can go back in. He climbed around the doorway every way possible!
Then I waved Daisy towards the door and she realised that everyone else had gone in so she did too.
Because they're all in the same cage, there was a LOT of squiggling before they settled down.
