It's really the third update, but I forgot to make that pun...
So today I tried placing my hand in the cage with my budgies again, after missing it since Saturday ( I was busy ) Mango now jumps up onto the millet sprig with barely any hesitation then climbs down towards my fingers, since he's eaten all the millet at the top. That scares Muffin, as usual, so he won't really step up. But, contradicting that last statement - he actually did step up after only two minutes of prompting!Mango was still up on the swing and not on the millet, though. He stayed on my finger for like 5 mins.
Then Mango comes down, and Muffin's still there, but after a minute I saw a glint in their eyes and Mango basically sat on the millet and shot a death glare at Muffin, so he stepped down.
I think it calmed them a bit because they've been listening to classical music since 10:30AM (it's 2:15 now.) So i'm going to keep trying with that.
I know not many people are intrested this but I only have a few people to share it with and i'm still open for tips
And would anyone recommend an Amazon.co.uk product that has less bendy and longer millet sprigs? Not sure if there really is such a thing but I seem to have bought a bad bag, they're all super bendy and too short/too long/something else I can't remember.
Thanks I also have a youtube channel if you want to see videos because they're a bit of a pain to upload on here, the link is in my signature

It sounds like the training is going very well.
I'm not sure why you need something less bendy than the millet. You should only use a small piece of millet for training and either put it on the palm of your hand or between your fingers.

I'll try using the small piece of millet, but Mango won't be able to reach it so he won't be happy. Even if Muffin isn't eating the millet, if theres millet in the cage, he wants it. He throws a tantrum and flaps around which scares Muffin so he runs away from my hand too.
