Sparky is my little maniac. Bluey used to when he was young too, but now it is Sparky's turn to do laps of the house without stopping, "just because". Some days he is so energetic and flighty, I have to wait my turn before he will even come to perch on my finger.

Ah yes I have had a few budgies that have done that in my livingroom when in quarantine. I gave up sometimes and just left them sitting up there for ages trying to poop on me lol.

Same here. Mine headed up to the chandelier to roost so I'd have to stand on a chair or tall ladder (in the dark) with a stick to reach him. Every time I'd try to get him, he'd just jump from one arm to the next. I'd spin it around a little, to reach him, he'd jump again...and again, until the chandelier was spun so tight that when I let it go, it would spin back on itself really fast, and Boo would go spinning around on it like a top. It was really really annoying. He still does it sometimes when he's in a weird roosting mood at night and doesn't feel like sleeping in his cage.

Budgies will do anything to get out of going back into their cages won't they! ;D
