Summer is rapidly approaching and we get much nicer views then. Here are a couple sunset pictures overlooking the beach and one of a moon rise. Enjoy! Beautiful pics. A question, do those palms fruit at all, they are different to the coconut palms I know but just wondering š

Hezz My guess is a common blackbird Nope, M; thatās a fail. This was way too small for ye ole blackbird, probably one of our LBBās - little brown birds, distinguishable from the other LBBās only by an expert. While the old blackbird was brought over to make the colonists feel more āat homeā thankfully they have remained much further south.

Ahhh thankyou, Iāve often wondered, they are incredibly high š They are one variety of fan palm from what I can see. They will have a flower/seed spike called an inflorescence that the birds may feed on, but not a fruit for human consumption such as the coconut or date palms.

Yup. At least a blackbird could have been a long shot. You could have said something like a woodpecker which we donāt have. Wot? u mean I got it wrong? Nope, M; thatās a fail.
