I don't think anyone on here buys Trill anymore, Trill changed the formula a long time ago and members moved to different suppliers.

I did buy a box, not bought it before, but I saw everyone grabbing dog food and cat food, so I put some in my trolley. I've not opened it yet.

Freeze it for 24-48hrs before you feed it to the birds. That'll kill off anything that might be still alive.

I occasionally buy it and mix in in with their seed (budgie bravo) if I'm running low and waiting for a delivery never found any bugs in it though.

I emptied it in a plastic container before freezing in case the cardboard went soggy. I had a look and it didn't see anything that didn't look like seed or grit. Lovely little shells in it

Since i been feeding Bella Trill her poop is very loose. When i first got her she was ok but i was feeding her a bag of seed that came with the cage i bought. Don't know which brand of seed it was. Maybe a change of seed will help, which is the best brand of seed for budgies that won't upset their tummy. Bella is about 9 months old.

summerbird I use Haiths TipTop. Some use Bravo. Others use other brands. It's better to start your own post as you'll get more answers. On the original subject about Trill with bugs in it. I did get a box recently that had at least 5 dead ladybirds in it which I thought was odd.
