I personally wouldn't buy it. Budgies fly side to side not up and down. The bottom of the cage will not be used, also you will have nowhere to hang toys.

I was searching for a cage like that! That looks like a great cage for my birds. Problem is it’s from amazon UK and I’m from the US... would I still be able to order it?

Wait never mind, just found out it says “This item does not ship to the United States. Learn more.” I’ll try to find one like this though thank you so much

Much better, but get some natural branch perches and run them front to back of the cage, not across. Across leaves them nowhere to fly to whereas running the perches front to back gives them the whole of the centre of the cage for flying from side to side. Place toys around the edges as well will help keep the centre of the cage open for exercise.

Sorry to say that that cage is not very good either. I had the same cage and it's very difficult to position the perches as the food bowl end up underneath them meaning the birds poop in the food. And the little doors that slide up to access the food are blocked by perches. Also it's very flimsy and is collapsible. I used mine as a hospital cage. that's about all it was good for.

Get your own seed pots that hook on rather than use the ones that come with the cage. I have a couple of this sort of cage and yes I thought they were rather flimsy, but if they sit on a good firm base they are surprisingly stable. I've had mine for years. I never use the little doors on any of the cages I have, in fact they are permanently closed with stainless steel cable ties. You have a large door through which to change seed, water and paper etc, and I've never had a problem with them collapsing. So, rania, you have a difference of opinion there. If I were to recommend a cage for budgies, I don't think you can go past the Hamberley. Unfortunately the site says they are unavailable at the moment. www.amazon.co.uk/Little-Friends-Hamberley-Metal-Cage/dp/B005CAY8QA
