Marianne Marlow I'm not good with mutations but he is the same as Betty, and now his ceres turned colour it reminds me of her.

Frank looks like a Normal Sky Blue, just like my Lucy (but a lot fluffier!) Does he have the normal budgie markings on the back of his head?

Stanley and Arthur are gorgeous, of course. If I can add my own recent "bird talk" incident, on Tuesday Loki and the Boyz had been in the aviary while I was at work. When I brought them back inside I forgot to put Loki's seed back in his cage. It was still in the little cage (with the door closed), so he sat on the door of his cage and YELLED for a good five minutes, just like he does when there are cockatoos around (because they are big scary white ghosts who might spirit him away, never to be seen again). Eventually he hopped onto the little cage, still screaming until the silly hooman got the message - give me my seed! If only they could talk eh? I'd love to know their thoughts and what they usually think about daily, and more importantly what they think of us!
I'm not sure I think that was a good idea!!!

Oh, clt80, that's not good. Hopefully just an iodine deficiency??

Tweetie Pie and Buddy would say "Why can't I tame her? She won't come to me when I want her to, she won't feed me what I want and she won't repeat my chirp". tweetiepiesmom Exactly!

Frank is a fluffy little one - I want to reach out and touch him! Still learning about budgies - the cere turning brown from blue doesn't necessarily mean he is actually a she?

Frank is a fluffy little one - I want to reach out and touch him! Still learning about budgies - the cere turning brown from blue doesn't necessarily mean he is actually a she? No he's still a He. It's hormonal so could be variety of reasons from testicular cancer to being submissive to another male, lack of iodine or just a fluctuation with his hormones. I've seen other members have boys who's ceres have gone brown then back to blue.
