Not talent as such. I’d bought this metal flower for my bedroom, which is lime. But when it arrived it was more moss green. I repainted and it was ok but too small for the wall So I thought my bathroom which is teal. I repainted, but didn’t look ok in there. So, it’s now on a narrow wall in my hall, matching the colours at top of my stairs. It looks better there. the pics are out of order, for some reason

That is so lovely ffiscool, love it more now that it is blue. Good choice of the shade of blue too. I'm quite envious. I have a metal wall hanging in my lounge, it's quite big and is of branches with leaves on.

Thank you ladies, I agree, the deeper colour and silver are so much better as gives depth. It’s teal on the larger petals and a metallic turquoise on smallest. It was £8 plus online, paints I then bought online from Amazon, so about £20 in total which is a bargain.
I’ve ordered a cream metal flower thing, but much bigger from Dunelm, also cheap. My walls are some form of cream, as you can see, so I’ll add bits of lime so it doesn’t blend in too much for my bedroom. I love Dunelm. I think they love me too, lol as most of my pots came from there.
Shirls, I love those tree ones, but any that had coloured leaves, weren’t lime.

OMG I love Dunelm. I could spend the day there, just wandering around. One of my first choices when I'm looking for a gift or just to spoil myself. I have to make a visit soon for a kitchen timer. I overwound mine lol

When I can I enjoy making things, I dry flowers & herbs for pot pourri, here's one I made as a 'thank you'. I use cheap bouquets from the supermarket, things I find on my woodland forages & some I grow in pots. I dry them in a container pegged onto a radiator or on a windowsill. I get the bowls from charity shops.

The cotton wool bud above has been dipped into lavender essential oils one end, orange on the other. The oils tend to discolour pale dried dried flowers, forgot that bit. Here's the container type I use, egg boxes are the best as they absorb moisture.

That's a brilliant idea! Love the blue flowers too ffiscool, but I am biased as blue is my favourite colour

My flower ended up in the hall, so it left a bare cream wall in my bedroom. Bought this but as it would blend too much, got my paints out again, et voila. Before and after its lime but doesn’t show that up so much in the pic
